The bush road ends at the MAIN CAMP. Our unique peninsula location allows our cabins to not only be "on" the water, but "surrounded" by water! Cabins are well spaced - 200 feet apart, providing a superb water view, and PRIVACY.

At the Main Camp you will find our lodge and three housekeeping cabins. Each cabin has a propane stove and refrigerator, a wood stove for heat, propane bbq, and electric lights in the evening. All Main Camp cabins have 3 piece bathrooms: sink, shower, and toilet. Kitchens have hot/cold running water and all cooking/eating utensils. The cabins have bunk-beds with mattresses; bring your sleeping bag, pillow, towels, etc. A satellite internet system is available to all guests to help keep in touch with home.

Looking to relax and enjoy a private, secluded get-away?   Try an outpost!  Accessible by boat only, our outpost locations offer outstanding views, peace, quiet, and an opportunity to have your very own piece of heaven in the Canadian wilderness.  Outpost guests, like Main Camp guests, will drive to our Main Camp at the south end of Ogascanan.  After your check-in and lake orientation session, your gear will be loaded into boats and we will proceed to your outpost; we have a larger boat to assist with transport.

The ISLAND OUTPOST

5 minutes by boat from the Main Camp, our Island Outpost has three cabins capable of accommodating up to 12 people.

BIG GROUP? - RESERVE THE WHOLE ISLAND AND HAVE YOUR OWN 3 CABIN MINI-CAMP!

There is a propane bbq on the Island that is shared.   For your comfort, there’s a “screened-in” fish cleaning house with hand pumped water.  All of the Island Outpost cabins are equipped with propane stoves and refrigerators, and wood stoves for heat.  The kitchens have running water at the sink and all cooking/eating utensils.  The cabins have bunk beds with mattresses; bring your sleeping bag, pillow, towels, etc.   Because toilets are not permitted on the Island, the site features a modern, 3-stall outhouse, which is cleaned and serviced daily. Also, a central shower house with hot running water is available at any time for the use of all Island guests.
